Can you tell me what this is?
We pull up to the skycap section of the curbside drop off. I take my time getting out of the car expecting the skycap to come over and offer their assistance (as they always do in Hawaii). They don't come over. So I get out of the car and wave for them to come over. They don't so I walk over to the desk. In a rude tone they tell me that the reservation which I confirmed over the phone and over the internet wasn't in their system so I have to go inside. I walk back to the car to explain to Miki what happened. As I am explaining to Miki, and deciding how we will get her, our 15 month old, our 3 month old, our two suitcases, backpacks, car seats, and strollers across the street, and into the warm terminal, an SUV pulls up in front of us with a couple who have a fairer complexion than we do. The skycap worker who I talked to jumps to his feet rushes over and very politely asks can I help you with your luggage. This set me off. 1) because my family didn't receive the same type of service, 2) because I'm trying to figure out how to get my family and our things into the terminal (without getting in trouble for parking at the curb) so they can be warm while I return our rental. I don't know you tell me...

They saw your group and thought...not driving a Cadillac(not rich tourists)...so no big tip. Racist? NO, Prejudice? NO Money hungry? Yes.
Sorry that happened to you but there's a lot of ugly people out there and yes, they do exist even in Utah.
wow. that is so rude.
wooow.... that sucks! i would've been so mad too!
and i love that you posted this. i like it when spencer posts stuff on our blog. lol. now i can tell him that there is someone else that does that too. :)
We've had many similar experiences in Utah. I don't think all thoughs people were money hungry either. I didn't believe it myself at first, never having experienced it personally, but the longer we lived there......well it was an unfortunate realization. I'm sorry it had to happen to you too.:(!
